Whether you’ve always wanted to give freestyle a go but not known where to start or if you’re already a seasoned jibber Sheffski is the place for you. We can help you from getting air for the first time, throwing your first 360 or perfecting your switch cork 9s and there are members of all abilities regularly turning up to our freestyle sessions so there will always be someone to help encourage you to the next level. Having Sheffield Ski Village, with one of the best Snowflex parks in the country, right on our doorstep is a definite advantage and means that it’s easy for us to head up for our weekly practice sessions or a cheeky midweek ski. To compliment this we also run regular trips to the surrounding dryslopes, as well as to Castleford snowdome for their freestyle nights. There’s also the opportunity to test yourself against the other universities with the full calendar of BUSC freestyle events.

We also like to keep things interesting on Friday nights by holding regular mini-comps with prizes to be won and a game of P.I.G. or two.

For all you ski geeks out there we also hold our legendary ski movie night where we spend several hours dissecting this seasons ski films over pizza and beer – the perfect opportunity to meet like-minded skiers and check out the latest films.
