Many people think you have to know how to ski to join SheffSki. This is not the case! We ski every Friday at the Sheffield ski village and lessons can be provided for complete beginners, or for those who just want to improve their mad ski skillz.
Levels of Ability
The Sheffield Ski Village does not allow skiers to free-ski unless they are considered a level 3 skier.
Ski level 1 – Nursery slope
Exercises on flat area
Straight running exercises
Control speed by ploughing
Ski level 2 – Nursery slope
Rope tow
Increase speed control
Linked turns
Ski level 3 – Nursery and Main slope
Increased speed control
Plough turning exercises
Transition from nursery slope to main slope

One Off Taster Lesson: £10
If you are unsure whether you want to have lessons at the ski village, you can try a 1 hour sesh for just 10 squids.
3 Lesson Intermediate Pack: £30
This pack gives you 3 1 hour ski lessons designed to get you competently parallel turning, and beyond!
6 Lesson Beginner Pack: £60
This pack gives you 6 1 hour ski lessons, and will get you from a complete beginner level to a level 3 skier!
Single Lessons: £15
After you have had your taster lesson, you can have further single lessons for £15.
Please note:
The lesson packs do not have to be run on consecutive weeks. You can have the lessons whichever week you are available, but it must be on a SheffSki skiing session, which are run every Friday.
